What this page does (plain words)

  • Walks you through 5 steps to redesign a “Form” (Diagnose → Extract Essence → Reimagine → Embody → Share & Metrics).
  • Saves your drafts locally in your browser (no server, no sign-in).
  • Exports a clean Markdown and a JSON backup.
  • Creates a shareable link that encodes your draft in the URL (hash).
  • Prints a PDF via your browser’s Print dialog.

Quick start (3 minutes)

  1. Click “↓ Start forging” to jump to the form.
  2. Fill Form Title (required) and a few lines in each section.
  3. Click 💾 Save Draft. Your draft appears in Your Vault (right side).
Every button explained
  • 💾 Save Draft — saves to your browser’s local storage.
  • + New — clears the form for a fresh start.
  • Load / MD / Delete (in Your Vault) — load a draft, export Markdown, or delete it.
  • ⬇ Export Markdown — clean doc for sharing/printing.
  • ⬇ Export JSON — structured backup you can re-import later.
  • ⬆ Import JSON/README — pick a saved .json or the Markdown README to auto-fill the form.
  • 🔗 Copy shareable URL — copies a link encoding your draft (not password-protected).
  • 🖨️ Print / Save as PDF — use the browser print dialog.
  • Quizzes — quick checks to improve clarity & integrity.

1) Diagnose
- Inherited: “Success = constant output + visibility.” Learned from rankings + hustle culture; benefits loud contributors; absorbed via social + OKRs.
- Harms: Burnout, shallow work, exclusion of caregivers/introverts, performative metrics.
- Signals: Weekend emails, meeting fatigue, fear of saying “no,” vanity dashboards.

2) Extract Essence
- Keep: Craftsmanship, reliability, contribution to users.
- Context: Remote/hybrid; attention fragmentation; care duties; async tools.

3) Reimagine
- Definition: Sustainable, high-leverage contribution that respects human limits and grows shared capability.
- Pillars: Focus time · Useful outcomes · Health first · Learning loops · Fair visibility.
- Anti-patterns: Always-on, heroics, vanity metrics, meeting-by-default.
- Rituals: Two 90-min focus blocks/day; weekly “small wins”; Friday shutdown checklist.
- Symbols: “Leverage > volume,” “Quiet wins,” “Green battery days.”

4) Embody
- Roles: Leads guard focus calendars; PMs propose async first; HR tracks health.
- Friction plan: Deadline spikes → flex pool; meeting creep → monthly audit.
- Timeline: 30d pilot → 60d rollout → 90d review.

5) Share & Metrics
- Audience: Team, leadership, HR.
- Metrics: % focus hours; lead time; sick days; satisfaction; rework rate.
- Ethics guardrails: No coercive tracking; opt-in transparency; consent for sharing metrics.
